Age restrictions
To ensure a safe event for all, age restrictions do apply for those between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of the event. Click below to see if you are eligible to participate.
Please note that children 12 years and under are not eligible to participate.
Exemptions apply subject to approval from Mater Foundation.
Riding on a tagalong, in a bicycle trailer or child seat is not permitted.

A fully supported ride
Police, traffic controllers, marshals, SAG wagon plus medical and mechanical support. All you need to do is ride—we’ve got your back.
Traffic-free 15km start
That’s right—we close the South East Busway just for you! This provides an uninterrupted and traffic-free start all the way out of Brisbane.
Rest stops
Refresh and regroup at two rest stops on the 100km route. Fully equipped with a bike mechanic, refreshments, nutrition and medical support.
Finishers' Village
With live entertainment, food trucks, beverages and coffee. This is the perfect place to mingle, rest, refuel and enjoy the Gold Coast, after a fantastic morning of riding.
