THE CLASSIC

100KM Brisbane to Gold Coast

A milestone distance in every sense of it. Whether it’s your first time chasing a century ride or another notch on the belt, there’s plenty of Strava Kudos in conquering this route. You’ll commence in South Brisbane and turn immediately into the Busway off Melbourne Street for a 16 km traffic-free VIP ride out of Brisbane.

After exiting the Busway, the course follows a combination of service and suburban roads, backed by expert traffic management and support from Queensland Police Service. You’ll have the choice to recharge at two rest stops en route or power on to Fisherman’s Lawn, Southport where the finish line awaits.

The course is mostly flat (less than 450 metres of climbing over 100km) with a few small inclines along the way. It is suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness.

This distance is a great stepping-stone to cycling the 100km event next year. You’ll experience riding through the finish arch on the Gold Coast to enjoy the buzz of the Finishers' Village.
