Preview the 2025 course!

A scenic 5km course from South Bank to City Botanic Gardens.

Designed to provide the best experience for you as a participant, the course has been designed to make the most of Brisbane’s riverfront setting in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether you will be running, jogging or walking, you and your breasties will kick off your morning at South Brisbane, near the Mater Hospital—right where the impact of your valuable fundraising efforts are realised, supporting the incredible women fighting breast cancer!

You will continue along the top of Kangaroo Point with a full view of the city before crossing the iconic Story Bridge and back alongside the river until you reach the City Botanic Gardens.

There you can kick back and relax at the Finisher’s Village full of fun, entertainment and refreshments.

Show your support for the incredible women fighting breast cancer, and raise awareness and vital funds for Mater Chicks in Pink to make a difference, all while enjoying Brisbane’s landmarks.

Course safety

  • Bikes or scooters are not permitted on course.
  • Listen for announcements and follow directions from event officials.
  • Only go to the start line when directed by officials.
  • Walkers to remain behind runners to allow them an unobstructed start.

  • Marshals will also be around on the day to direct you to the correct assembly zone.
  • Keep LEFT at all times unless passing.
  • Runners who find they need to stop or walk, please move to the left and be mindful of other participants running behind you.
  • We strongly recommend headphones are not worn during the event so you can hear and fully understand all special instructions and announcements.
  • First aid will be located on course and at the Start Line and Finishers' Village.
  • Unfortunately, your furry friends will need to stay at home (no dogs or pets are permitted on course except registered assistance animals.)
