Suzy Collyer

Suzy was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in August this year. After her diagnosis she made the decision to have a double mastectomy, to minimise her chances of cancer spreading to the lymph nodes. Suzy says that Mater Chicks in Pink has helped her beyond measure and thanks everyone who gets involved and raises funds.

Jane Andersen

Jane was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. At times, she feared the worst. But her breast care nurse, Jen from Mater Chicks in Pink, became Jane's rock, her confidant, and helped her to navigate one of the most difficult periods of her life. Jane takes part in the Fun Run to help other women like her now, and in the future.

Rebecca Langdon

Rebecca’s friend Tara was 34 years old when she passed away from breast cancer. She understands how important medical research is to hopefully, one day, find a vaccine. That’s why Rebecca takes part in the Fun Run each year and raises funds for Mater Chicks in Pink’s ongoing research and support programs for women like her friend Tara.
