About Mater Giving Day

What is Mater Giving Day? How does it work?

add remove

Mater Giving Day is a fundraising event, bringing together patients, supporters, Mater staff and their loved ones to express gratitude to Mater, share why Mater matters to them and give back to their Mater community.

On this special day, all donations received before midnight on Wednesday 28 June, will be tripled thanks to generous Matched Givers—who are passionate about giving back to Mater and motivated to maximise our community's impact.

All funds raised on Mater Giving Day will help continue to deliver life-saving medical equipment, research, education and healthcare throughout Queensland.

On Mater Giving Day—Wednesday 28 June 2023—one simple act of kindness can do so much good. It’s a day you can express gratitude, give support, contribute and make a difference.
