About Mater Giving Day
What is Mater Giving Day? How does it work?
Mater Giving Day is a special 24-hour fundraiser where the community comes together to make good things happen. Until midnight Wednesday 26 June 2024, every single donation received will be tripled thanks to our generous matching partners.
That’s right–TRIPLE the impact!
All funds raised on Mater Giving Day will help continue to deliver life-saving medical equipment, research, education and healthcare throughout Queensland.
On Mater Giving Day—Wednesday 26 June 2024—one simple act of kindness can do so much good. It’s a day you can express gratitude, give support, contribute and make a difference.
How can I support Mater Giving Day?
Make a donation and leave a message of gratitude to the doctors, nurses and researchers who give their all every day.
On Mater Giving Day, every single donation received will be tripled thanks to our generous matching partners.
That means, if you donate $50, Mater Foundation will receive $150 to help deliver critical and life-saving medical equipment, enhance research, and improve education and healthcare in your community. You can donate online here, or by calling 1800 500 422.
Or, you can share with your community. It’s easy to spread the word about Mater Giving Day! Post your own video to social media sharing what Mater Giving Day means to you.
- The day I’m donating to say thank you to Mater for the birth of my healthy baby girl.

How does my impact get tripled? What does that mean?
Every donation made on Mater Giving Day will be tripled thanks to our matching partners—a group of passionate philanthropists determined to motivate and incentivise our wider community to give more.
These matching partners will chip in two additional dollars for every dollar you give. For example, if you donate $50, Mater Foundation will receive $150.
