Why I am Racing For Cancer

Hi Everyone,

My name is Reece and I've committed to being part of Team Smiddy at the 2021 Noosa Triathlon.

That means in October, I'll be taking on an Olympic distance triathlon for the first time. That's a 1500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run!

Why am I taking on this challenge?

Because cancer has directly affected me and my family, close friends, and so many other Australians around the country.

As part of my challenge I am documenting my entire journey on YouTube (Triitoutadventures), with the goal of raising a minimum of $1,500 to fund ground-breaking research at Mater into the causes, prevention and treatment of various types of cancer. But I know we can exceed that mark.

With every donation made on this page, I will thank each and every individual in my upcoming triathlon videos on YouTube leading up to Noosa.

If you aren't in a position to donate, please help grow the triitoutadventures community by following my journey on Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram. The more we spread the word, the more we can give back :)

Thank you kindly!

This is a fantastic fund raising event you are supporting along with all of the people effected by cancer patients family & friends. I encourage as many people to donate to this cause allowing medical researchers to continue developing better treatments to overcome cancer in the community. Well done Son on your comments to the cause with vigorous training to complete a triathlon.
