In 2012 I lost my dad to brain Cancer.  In the months leading up to his passing, he spent many a session at the Mater hospital getting Chemo treatment.  The staff, Doctors and nurses could not have been mor helpful or supportive to my dad but more so my mum who was there supporting her only ever husband and our father.  For many years I have looked and wanted to do more to help support those that help others, and this is the reason for my involvement in this charity ride for the mater foundation.  I cannot wait to challenge myself and I hope to get a number of my friends, family, colleagues and business connections to get on board with me to support this great organisation.

Will you support my fundraising?

In March, I’ll be joining the Challenge South Australia.

Why am I taking on this challenge?

Because I’m committed to making a real impact for cancer research at Mater.

As part of the challenge I’m aiming to raise valuable funds to support the work of Mater Research—Mater’s world-class research institute that’s investing in some game-changing work into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer.
