Noosa Triathlon 2021

Why I Tri

I've committed to being part of Team Smiddy at the 2021 Noosa Triathlon.

That means in October, I'll be taking on a 1500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run! Yes, I'll be pushing my body to the limit.

Why am I taking on this challenge?

Because I'm committed to the long, hard road to fight cancer.

As part of my challenge I'm aiming to raise a minimum of $1250 to fund ground-breaking research at Mater into the causes, prevention and treatment of various types of cancer.

And this is where I need your help.

Will you support my fundraising by making a donation today?

Why Tri?

Monday 22nd Feb
Dad loved pushing himself to the absolute limit and it was triathlons that quenched that thirst. He always gave everything 110% and hated excuses.

On the 31st of October the Noosa Triathlon will be run, it is 10 years to the day since he passed away from renal cancer.
The Noosa Tri was Dads favorite triathlon on the racing calendar.

When the opportunity presented itself to participate all while raising money for cancer - there were ZERO excuses not to give it a crack.

It will be tough but how lucky am I that I am here to give it a go, I’m sure with a little help from above.

Thanks in advance for your support.
