3rd year running in the International Women’s Day Fun Run!
We are raising funds to support women with breast cancer now and into the future.
This year my goal is to run the 5km in under 27 minutes.
In 2022 I ran the 5km in 33 minutes while I was undergoing chemotherapy for Breast Cancer. Running kept me fit and strong throughout treatment and was a key factor to my strong recovery.
When Runa asks me “Mum, why do we have to run”, I tell her because Mater and the Chicks in Pink saved my life and we will run every year to remember that and to raise money so they can continue to help patients like me in the future.
By making a donation, you can play a part in improving treatments and care for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
When you donate, you’re helping to support counselling services and supply practical items like mastectomy bras and wigs after surgery and chemotherapy.
You’ll also be supporting world leading research that focuses on improving survival rates and working towards a world where ALL women diagnosed with breast cancer survive.
Ultimately, you’ll help make life easier for women with breast cancer today and save more lives tomorrow.
