Team Smiddy takes on the Noosa Tri!
Last year I lost a beautiful friend Gina at 28 years old to a 7 year long battle to Melanoma. It’s hard to even fathom the loss to the world to not have her here with us.
This weekend, I've committed to being part of Team Smiddy at the 2024 Noosa Triathlon to raise money in loving memory of Gina. The money raised goes towards ground- breaking cancer research at the Mater foundation to help people just like Gina.
I’m going in with very little training and have seriously considered pulling out. But Gina wouldn’t pull out. Gina would fight. Gina would just do it. She’d give it her all. In fact, Gina would love to do it and do it with a smile!
