Weather is looking great!

Sunday morning is looking great but it will be warm. So bring a hat, slap on some sunscreen and keep hydrated.
Our team is now over $6000, this is incredible 💗 don't forget parking is limited at the lake especially as we will have over 160 participants. Feel free to park near Wivenhoe Cct (finish line) and make your way over to The Amphitheatre for 9am start.

A quick run down.
☆ Meet at The Amphitheatre on The Esplanade Forest Lake between 8:30-9am for a 9am start
☆ 2 laps around the lake (if you can) then finishing at the Stage Playground
☆ Wear your tshirts and any other funky pink items to show your support
☆ FREE Bbq, Zooper Doopers & water at the finish line for everyone. Thanks to I Look Property Brisbane. Coffee van for hot or cold drinks to purchase
☆ Keep your fundraising efforts going, we're now over $5000!!! Woohoooooo!!!!!

Registrations have closed....but read on!

Due to an overwhelming amount of registrations for the entire Qld event which includes Forest Lake, the Mater Foundation has closed off ticketing.

But wait, you can still join us on March 2nd. Although you can't officially register, join us at the Lake Amphitheatre (grassed area under Green shade sails) on The Esplanade between 830-850am for 9am start. 
Wear your best pink outfit as unfortunately there are no more tshirts available. Think pink tutus, pink wigs, pink socks, hats etc anything pink so you look the part (if you wish). 
As you won't be officially registered your still welcome! You though won't get a personal donation page, but you can share our team page if you would like to get donations or donate yourself.

We have over 140 people registered for our event and have also raised over $3000!!! 
This is incredible 🎀
Don't forget everyone gets their own fundraising page which they can share the link on socials and emails and whilst it's not imperative that you fundraise it definitely helps the Mater Foundation support women in care and also furthers research. 
Make sure you are on our Facebook event, search Walk for Breast Cancer - Forest Lake for updates and help with fundraising and other info. 

5km's too hard? that's totally fine!

You don't need to complete the entire 5km's. It's an event "your way" so come along & join in with the Forest Lake Pink Warriors regardless of how far you'd like to walk. 
Don't forget to hang around afterwards for a FREE sausage sizzle thanks to Matthew Groves from I Look Property Brisbane and a coffee or cold drink from either Simple Bliss at the lake or our coffee van. Water will be also FREE for all participants.

We're raising funds to support women with breast cancer now and into the future. 

By making a donation, you can play a part in improving treatments and care for women diagnosed with breast cancer.  

When you donate, you’re helping to support counselling services and supply practical items like mastectomy bras and wigs after surgery and chemotherapy.  

You’ll also be supporting world leading research that focuses on improving survival rates and working towards a world where ALL women diagnosed with breast cancer survive. 

Ultimately, you’ll help make life easier for women with breast cancer today and save more lives tomorrow. 

As little as $20 can make a profound impact and take some of the stress off women with breast cancer and their families. Please, if you possibly can, will you donate today?
