Running for Something Bigger Than Me 💗

A few weeks ago, I signed up for the Mater Breast Cancer Fun Run here in Brisbane.

Not because I’m a runner.

Not because it’s easy.

But because breast cancer affects so many women, mothers, sisters, friends, colleagues and research truly changes lives.

Since sharing my fundraising page, I’ve already received some beautiful support. To everyone who has donated or shared the link: thank you. It genuinely means more than you know.

But I’m not at my goal yet and I would love to give this one more push.

Breast cancer research is not abstract. It funds:

• earlier detection
• better treatments
• improved survival rates
• support for families during incredibly hard times

The Mater Foundation does incredible work here in Queensland, and every dollar raised through the Fun Run directly supports breast cancer research and care.

As a woman working in health and wellness, prevention and education matter deeply to me. Movement is powerful. Community is powerful. And collective action is powerful.

So I’m asking you, if you’ve been thinking about donating, this is your sign :)

This International Women’s Day, I’m running in Brisbane to support breast cancer care and research at Mater Hospital.

Breast cancer affects so many women and families, and Mater provides essential treatment, support, and hope during incredibly challenging times.
