I’m part of the International Women’s Day Fun Run!
On Sunday 8 March, I will be taking part in the International Women’s Day Fun Run to help raise funds for Mater Chicks in Pink.
Funds raised help provide counselling and practical support to women during one of the most challenging times in their lives. They also aid world-leading research into improving survival rates and developing more effective treatments, towards a future where every woman diagnosed with breast cancer survives.
In July 2025, I received my own breast cancer diagnosis, and I am incredibly grateful for the help Chicks in Pink provided when I needed it most.
Completing the 5km will be a personal challenge as I am still undergoing treatment, but participating and fundraising is my way of giving back and helping other women facing this difficult journey feel supported and less alone.
