MY GIRL FRIEND

MY MATRON OF HONOUR AT OUR WEDDING HAD A ROUTINE CHECK AND FOUND SHE HAD HIGH GRADE WITH COMEDO NECROSIS  SHE HAD A LUMPECTOMY FOLLOWED BY 2 RE-EXCISIONS TO GET A CLEAR MARGIN. ONCE HEALED SHE HAD 25 ROUNDS OF RADIATION. CERTAINLY HAD COMPLICATIONS WITH THE TREATMENT BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE.  RECONSTRUCTION OPERATION WAS  ALSO DONE AFTER ALL TREATMENT WAS FINISHED .DURING THE LAST 4 YEARS HAS HAVE REGULAR BILATERAL MAMMOGRAMS AND ULTRASOUNDS TOGETHER WITH MANY ONCOLOGIST AND BREAST SURGEON VISTS. HER LAST MAMMOGRAM WAS THIS SATURDAY 10-1-2026  AND ALL GOOD WAS THE RESULT. SHE MENTIONED TO ME THE CARE SHE GOT FROM THE BREAST COUNCIL FROM THE MOMENT SHE HEARD THE NEWS  WHICH LEFT THEM SHATTERED WITH HER HUSBAND WAS TOTALLY AMAZING. THIS IS WHY I  AM DOING THE  FUN RUN.

I'm raising funds to support women with breast cancer now and into the future. 

By making a donation, you can play a part in improving treatments and care for women diagnosed with breast cancer.  

When you donate, you’re helping to support counselling services and supply practical items like mastectomy bras and wigs after surgery and chemotherapy.  

You’ll also be supporting world leading research that focuses on improving survival rates and working towards a world where ALL women diagnosed with breast cancer survive. 

Ultimately, you’ll help make life easier for women with breast cancer today and save more lives tomorrow.
