I’m part of the International Women’s Day Fun Run!

As most of you know, this fundraiser and day means a lot to my family. Prior to my diagnosis this was always something I supported, but since my diagnosis in 2023 this has become a day of celebration, a day of acknowledging my struggle, a day of pride, strength, resilience and belief.

It took 2 years of my life, my family’s lives and still today, I’m currently under 3 different specialists and having regular screening.

Unfortunately it didn’t stop with me, my sister, my cousins, nieces and nephews have all been affected in both diagnosis and carrying the gene.

Let’s kick some cancer ass, lets promote early detection and help find a cure so hopefully one day, generations down the track can live with piece of mind not worrying about their futures.
