I’m part of the International Women’s Day Fun Run!

After a routine yearly Mammogram in October 2022, I was diagnosed with early stages of a high grade and invasive type of Breast Cancer. I then tested positive for the BRCA1 gene. It all hit hard and fast, one of my biggest fears was quickly evolving into my new reality.

Shortly after my diagnosis I endured 7 surgeries within 12 months.

Fundraising and raising awareness for this life saving cause is the least I can do to give back to all the wonderful medical research and therapy that I have personally received, not to mention my own mother Jocy who thankfully survived her own battle and for my cousin Jeonna who lost her battle after enduring this disease for 8 long suffering years.

Since surviving my own journey and sharing it publicly 12 months after the fact, I have not only raised thousands of dollars, but supported a number of close friends and students also fighting the same battle.

Needless to say, this cause is very dear to my heart so I would be forever grateful for your generous donation. Let’s keep fighting this fight!
