I am taking on Noosa Triathlon 2026
I've committed to being part of Smiddy at the 2026 Noosa Triathlon.
That means in November, I'll be completing an Olympic distance triathlon. That's a 1,500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run! Yes, I'll be pushing my body to the limit.
Why am I taking on this challenge?
Because in 2014, when I was diagnosed with cancer, my family and I experienced the great work that the Doctors, Nurses and allied health professionals at the Mater extend to people going through cancer treatment. Raising money to help them continue to help other families is the least I can do.
As part of my challenge I'm aiming to raise $2,000 to go towards ground-breaking research at Mater into the causes, prevention and treatment of various types of cancer.
And this is where I need your help.
Will you support my fundraising by making a donation today?
