One example is Scout technology, which offers an advanced approach to breast cancer surgery that both increases accuracy and reduces discomfort for patients before and after surgery.
This minimally invasive technology uses a small reflector—about the size of a grain of rice—to give surgeons real-time guidance during surgery.
Placed inside the breast, the reflector helps surgeons more accurately locate and remove tumours while preserving healthy tissue.
