Girl Up Brisbane is a United Nations affiliated women's empowerment community group based in Brisbane.
We support women and gender diverse individuals to live safe, inclusive and healthy lives, free from gendered violence, medical misogyny, and any form of social, cultural or political discrimination.
The Mater Chicks in Pink Foundation has made incredible strides in spreading awareness for women's (and gender diverse individuals) health conditions, normalising breast exams, and promoting preventative healthcare.
We want to support their groundbreaking work, and will be walking 5km in the Brisbane CBD dressed in PINK as a means of raising money!
