Noosa Triathlon 2021

My target 3000 kms

Why I Tri

I've committed to being part of Team Smiddy at the 2021 Noosa Triathlon.

That means in October, I'll be taking on an Olympic distance triathlon. That's a 1500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run! Yes, I'll be pushing my body to the limit.

Why am I taking on this challenge?

Because I'm committed to the long, hard road to fight cancer.

As part of my challenge I'm aiming to raise a minimum of $1250 to fund ground-breaking research at Mater into the causes, prevention and treatment of various types of cancer.

And this is where I need your help.

Will you support my fundraising by making a donation today?

Coming out of Triathlon Retirement - John Gallagher

Sunday 18th Jul
It’s been nearly a decade since my last Noosa Triathlon & I’ve been off the bike & enjoying alternate sports pursuits (waterpolo, paddling…. even a golf comeback) as well as extra wining & dining & growing old gracefully - BUT have decided it’s time to TRI a bit harder! I’d be grateful for any words of support or help with my fundraising efforts - SO THANK YOU in advance!

Thank you to my Sponsors
