Never have I heard of anyone having a regret with regard to Smiling for Smiddy. But I have just one…..
All the years Townsville Challenge happened and I never participated in it. Always something else on or next year till next thing it is no longer.
That’s why next Sunday 12th of July in the 20th Anniversary year of Smiling for Smiddy, I will do my own Townsville Challenge solo and unsupported over 8 days.
I will do this to honour Adam Smiddy, Smiling for Smiddy charity and everyone that has struggled against the tenacious disease that is cancer. But especially I’ll honour my mate Davo who just passed far too young from cancer.
