Why I ride
In May, I’ll be taking on the Far North Queensland Smiddy Challenge. Cycling up to 680 km over five days (I know, I’m sore just thinking about it).
Why am I taking on this challenge?
Like many others, my family and I have also been impacted by cancer. I know from first hand experience how challenging this can be and how important it is to continue to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment outcomes. Because of this, I’m committed to making a real impact for cancer research at Mater.
As part of my challenge I’m aiming to raise valuable funds to support the work of Mater Research—Mater’s world-class research institute that’s investing in some game-changing work into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer.
And this is where I need your help.
Together, we can help support world class research here in Queensland to make a real difference for those of us impacted by cancer.
Will you support my fundraising by making a donation to my fundraising page today?
