The Finishers' Village
You did it! Now it's time to rest, recover and celebrate at the Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer Finishers' Village. Stay and enjoy a coffee, delicious offerings from the food trucks or relax in the beer garden with your cycling buddies recounting a great ride.
Food and refreshments
Enjoy a post-ride coffee, refreshing cool drink and hearty feed from one of our many food and beverage vendors overlooking the sparkling waters and golden beachs of the Gold Coast.
Relax with family and friends
There is no need to hurry home. Your family and friends can cheer you across the finish line then soak in the atmosphere of the Finishers' Village.

The start and finish lines are located close to bus and train stations.
Within Brisbane, standard scheduled public transport services are available with bikes allowed on trains. Please check Translink to see if your local bus route allows bikes.

SW1 Car Park, South Brisbane
Queensland Cultural Centre
P1 Riverside Cap Park, South Brisbane will be open from 5am on event day. Parking will cost $17.60 on entry for a flat rate all-day parking fee.
Parking Southport

Getting to the start
Ride in: If possible, we encourage you to ride to the start line in South Brisbane, with plenty of bike path and cycle lanes leading directly to the start line area. Please note, direct access will be restricted to registered riders only.
Drop off: If you’re being driven in, the best drop of location is Stanley Place. You can then ride through the Cultural Centre Tunnel to the start line area. Due to road closures, you will need to access Stanley Place via Montague Road.
Drive and park: Secure Parking's SW1 South Brisbane car park and the Queensland Cultural Centre's P1 Riverside car park will open at 5:00am for those wishing to park near the start line.
Train: Tickets have now sold out for the trains. If you have purchase a ticket, you'll be sent an SMS prior to event day that you will need to show as proof of purchase to board the train. No paper tickets will be issued.
Getting home
Finishers' Village
After your ride your legs will need a rest, so be sure to figure out your plan for getting home before event day.
Get picked up: If you’re getting picked up, the best place to meet your driver is at the Broadwater Parklands Car Park.
Train from Helensvale Station: You can catch the train back to Brisbane from Helensvale Station, noting it is a bit of a ride from Fisherman’s Lawn. But what’s a few extra kms after your ride?
Bus: Limited places remain on the bus. If you were planning to book a bus ticket, please visit your dashboard now to book before tickets sell out. Unfortunately tickets will not be available to purchase on the day.
If you have pre-purchased bus ticket can this can be claimed up at the Bus Info Tent at the Finishers' Village after you complete your ride.
You will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time to pick up your ticket, drop off your bike and board the bus.Pre-purchased Transport

Changed traffic conditions
There will be a number of changed traffic conditions in place during the event, including scheduled road closures or restricted during the event. A full list of impacted roads will be provided to the public in the lead up to the event in October.

BE PREPARED
Rider Insurance
It is a requirement of all registered riders to have personal accident insurance to participate in this year’s event.
A subsidised one-off purchase fee of $6.60 is being offered with the rider’s registration and can only be purchased during the registration process. The insurance package is being supplied by a third party.

On course assistance
Should you find yourself in need of medical attention whilst on the course, the medical team will be dispatched to your location. Course marshals, volunteers, traffic controllers and police will all be able to contact the medical team to get them to your location.
If you see another rider needing medical attention, please notify the closest event official of the incident.
Hydration
To ensure you remain hydrated throught the ride we will have hydration stations at each of the rest stops and at the finishers village.
