About Olivia's Race Day

Help Make Little Miracles Happen

We invite you to join us at Olivia’s Race Day, a day of racing, fun and friendship for Mater Little Miracles at Eagle Farm Racecourse on Saturday 21 March 2026.

Olivia’s Lunch was held in memory of Olivia Clark (26.02.01 – 04.03.01) and became an annual tradition over 15 years for many groups of girlfriends who enjoyed catching up, while supporting a great cause.

Olivia was born prematurely at Mater Mothers’ Hospital and was cared for in the Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU). Sadly, she lost her struggle for life and it is in her memory that we raise vital funds for Mater’s NCCU. This unit cares for Queensland’s most vulnerable babies including those who are born prematurely or have life threatening conditions.

To provide the best possible care for premature babies and their families, Mater’s NCCU needs specialised staff, equipment and scientific research. Each year we aim to raise funds to help give the 2,000 premature babies treated annually at Mater a better chance of survival and an improved quality of life.

Since our first annual Olivia’s Lunch in 2003, we have raised over two and a half million dollars for Mater Little Miracles and Catherine's House. We have grown from just 95 women having lunch and raising $12,000 to a sell out event each year with over 340 guests and an ever growing waitlist.

In 2025 we raised an amazing $575,000 for the Mater Little Miracles Research Centre for mothers and babies in honour of our much loved Sister Angela Mary.

Olivia’s Race Day 2026 will support the Mater Little Miracles Research Centre and their goal to create a Tiny Baby Unit. This unit aims to lift survival rates for extremely premature babies from 69% to 89% within the next two years. We invite you to join us on this ambitious project in 2026, Olivia’s 25th birthday year.

The support of many Queensland guests and businesses each year has allowed us to make an enormous difference to the lives of many babies and their families cared for at Mater’s Neonatal Critical Care Unit.

Olivia’s Race Day this year hopes to welcome you and your friends to support us in what will be a spectacular day of fundraising, friendship and success as many of us gather together to support the babies and their families who don't have an easy start to life.

We thank you in anticipation of your support.

Maria Clark, Luen Pearce and The Olivia’s Race Day Committee.
