I am taking on Noosa Triathlon 2024!
I've committed to being part of Team Smiddy at the 2024 Noosa Triathlon.
This November, I'll be taking on an Olympic distance triathlon. That's a 1500m swim, 40km ride and 10km run! Yes, I'll be pushing my body to the limit.
Why am I taking on this challenge?
On 12th June 2023, we lost the girl who brought so much happiness into all of our lives. One of my oldest friends, Gina, lost her battle to the big c that is Melanoma, at just 28 years young. In an attempt to continue doing what Gina fought so hard to do, I’m committed to raising funds in support of the ground-breaking research done at The Mater, into the causes, prevention and treatment of various types of cancer, with the hope that one day people on the same journey as Gina won’t have to endure what she went through.
