Every Step Is Making A Difference

Let’s Make A Difference

Hey all, if you don’t know me, my name is Kirsty and as I write this.. I to know someone who is fighting this horrible disease we call Cancer but I also know this someone is in the hands of the Mater Cancer Centre. Did you know last year it was estimated that around 162,000 new cases of cancer were diagnosed in Australia, that’s an average of over 440 cases each day. That’s crazy but it’s facilities like the Mater Cancer Centres that we are so lucky to have. They say not every hero wears a cape and it’s true because behind those doors at the Mater Cancer Centres are hero’s wearing scrubs not capes and too are making a difference for our loved ones and friends.  So when the calendar changes to August i’m swapping my early morning slippers to Asic runners to raise much needed funds for the Mater. I will be hitting the road each morning to help make a difference with each step I take but I need your help too. For every dollar I raise, it goes to the Mater… just think that $1 you donated could go to a new cancer chair or that $1 you donated could be helping someone you know who is fighting this horrible disease. Each dollar counts and I know that the mater makes a difference for each patient that walks through those doors.

Let’s make a difference together 💗
