About the ride

Get ready to ride

Sunday 23 August 2026

Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer is a supported 100 km ride that challenges you to go further—safely, together, and with purpose.

You’ll roll out from South Brisbane straight onto the traffic‑free South East Busway, leaving the city behind as the kilometres settle in. Along the way, refuel at two on‑route rest stops before cruising toward the coast.

The ride finishes with sweeping Gold Coast views and a buzzing Finishers’ Village—a shared moment that makes every kilometre count.

This is the ride that matters.

Ride for someone who matters

BNEtoGC is more than a cycling challenge. It’s a chance to ride with purpose—for someone you love, remember or stand beside.

When you dedicate your ride, every kilometre becomes a personal statement of support. Your fundraising helps power cancer research and care at Mater, contributing to Mater Uncancer—work that’s helping turn fear into clarity and reshape cancer as treatable, liveable and increasingly beatable.
