I’m taking part in Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for cancer.

For those who know me, you know my dad meant the world to me. Losing him to bowel cancer changed my life in ways I still feel every single day. There isn’t a moment I don’t wish he were still here — laughing with us, guiding us, living the life he deserved.

Cancer stole that from him. And it steals that from far too many families.
That’s why I’ve signed up for Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer. This isn’t just a ride for me. It’s a promise. A promise to honour my dad. A promise to fight for the people who are still here, still battling, still hoping for more time.
Every day in Australia, 444 people hear the words “you have cancer.” That’s 444 families whose lives are turned upside down. 444 people who suddenly face fear, uncertainty, and the fight of their lives.
I don’t want other families to go through what mine did. I don’t want more daughters to lose their dads too soon.
So I’m asking — from the bottom of my heart — for your help.
If you’re able to donate, even a little, it truly makes a difference. It funds research, better treatments, and hope for the people who need it most.
Your support means more than you know.
It means honouring my dad.
It means standing with families who are fighting right now.
It means believing in a future where cancer takes fewer lives.
