I’m taking part in Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for cancer.
In 2014, my husband was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. It was one of the hardest chapters of our lives, but the care, compassion, and expertise we experienced at Mater carried us through. We will always be deeply grateful for the people who stood beside us during that time. Martin is well and in remission but we still remember how life changing a cancer diagnosis can be. This year, I’m taking on this 100 km cycling challenge to raise funds for life‑saving cancer research at Mater, research that helps create better outcomes for people affected by cancer now and into the future.
I’ll do the pedalling, but I can’t reach my fundraising goal alone.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation. Every contribution helps fund vital research and brings us closer to better treatments, better support, and more hope for families facing cancer.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
So far this year I have helped raise money for:
