I’m taking part in Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for cancer.
Those of you who know me know that I had Guillain Barre Syndrome in the past and it took me many years to regain basic functioning. Even now, there are things I've lost which I'll never get back.
And now, with my amazing wife, Samantha, recently being diagnosed with cancer, I understand how important our health is, more important than anything else in this life.
Watching her power through has inspired me, and I am so proud of her. Because of this, I've decided to also try to challenge my physical ability and also raise awareness & funds for cancer research by joining Maters Brisbane to Gold Coast 100km Cycling Challenge in August!
